Reddit will use AI summaries for threads

We all know that Reddit threads can be extremely long and can sometimes take a lot of trawling through to figure out exactly what they’re about, or find the answers we are looking for.

Reddit aims to help solve that issue later in 2024 with a plan to release an AI-powered feature that will generate content summaries at the top of thread posts, similar to the email summaries and Meta comment summaries we have seen launching recently.

This will allow users to find the content they are looking for quicker and create a much more user-focused experience.
